D Layer – Account Deletion Policy

This policy applies specifically to the mobile game D Layer available on Google Play and other platforms.

1. Introduction

Throwback Game Studios respects your right to control your personal data. This policy explains how you can request deletion of your D Layer account and all associated personal information. Upon request, we will permanently remove your account in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

2. How to Request Deletion

You may request deletion of your account using one of the following methods:

2.1 In-App Deletion

The easiest way to delete your account is directly within the game:

Open D Layer
Navigate to Settings
Select Delete Account
Confirm your deletion request

2.2 Email Request

If you are unable to access your account or prefer to request deletion via email, contact us at:

Please include the following information in your request:

Your registered email address (if applicable)
Your in-game name (IGN) or character name

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.

3. What Happens After Your Request

Once we receive and verify your deletion request, your data will be removed. This includes data stored on our servers and databases associated with your account.

Your account will be permanently anonymized, deactivated, and scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days of verification
Your email address and all personally identifiable information will be deleted
All gameplay progress, characters, inventory, and achievements will be permanently removed
Your in-game name (IGN) will be anonymized and can no longer be associated with you
Security logs containing your data may be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention and security purposes, after which they will be automatically deleted
Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained for analytics and game balancing purposes
Data required to comply with legal obligations or to resolve disputes may be retained as permitted by applicable law

Please note: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once processed, your account cannot be recovered, and all associated data will be permanently lost.

4. Guest Accounts

If you are playing as a guest without a registered account:

Guest data stored locally on your device can be removed by uninstalling the game and clearing app data
To request deletion of guest data stored on our servers, contact us at [email protected] with your device identifier (if known)
